Refunds?

Simply put, disfunctional addons on the premium marketplace should never exist, however if you are having issues with a particular addon, we will have a system where you can easily get refunded your download credits.

Why not just sell addons?

Selling addons directly can cause issues with refunds and support requirements, and limits the entry barrier for premium addons. Also leaks, with our premium marketplace users wont care as much about searching for leaks if we have a more accessible, convenient location for finding addons.

What if I want more premium addons?

We may offer download credits on our store, with premium you will get 10 credits immediately, and get an extra token every 2 days. You can use these credits to download addons.

We are trying to make each token average about $1.

This system will increase over-all customer purchase value (good for sellers) and lower the barrier to entry (better for customers)

Final notes

I believe this is a better over-all solution for gmod addon sales. Other marketplaces like gmstore, are lacking new marketplace items, and over-all it has a small selection available due to so much pressure being put on addon developers to keep their addons up to date or they will stop making money.

Other marketplaces put far too much focus on quality, quality, in gmod? Goes completely against the core principles of gmod. Addons should be fun.

We want addons to be fun, experimental, interesting, different & fit gmod. Not have hundreds of DarkRP entities with 100,000 polygons and demanding netcode.

At the moment to run a server, most people will spend $30 to $80 to buy a server, then pay $50 to $500 on addons. And if/when their server fails, some users will attempt to get refunds and when they don't get their refunds they'll just leak addons. Which isn't good for customers (backdoors) and sellers (loss of revenue).
